Los Angeles musician, Pi Jacobs, will be releasing her latest EP Hi-Rise Ranch due out April 14th which Pi describes in a press release as an “Americana bluesy rock thing.” Containing five originals and one Zeppelin cover (“Babe I’m Gonna Leave You”), Pi is accompanied by band members Kel Pritchard, Rita Soultanian, Jamie Bishop, Fredo Ortiz, Peter Adams, and Producer Eugene Toale (Kanye West, Brandy, Mya) who not only produced Hi-Rise Ranch, but played keys as well.

Emerging young country artist from Colorado, Kristi Hoopes, fell in love with music while a child in elementary school influenced by a teacher who would play guitar in class for her students. Kristi began with piano lessons and later on to guitar, vocals and songwriting, eventually traveling and performing with a musical theatre troupe. A few years ago, when I discovered the original iRig, i was so excited. As a musician that traveled, the iRig (in my case along with the IK multimedia app, AmpliTube) it gave me the ability to practice, record new song ideas, and transcribe songs while on the road with great sound quality, and minimal equipment. I loved the sound quality and ease of the apps that I found that even when I wasn't on the road, I was using the iRig for practicing and recording ideas at home.
