From now until September 30, 2017, enter to win a new Taylor Guitars American Girl GS Mini acoustic guitar! A winner from the U.S. will be chosen October 1, 2017.

This special edition GS Mini is the fruit of a collaboration between Taylor and American Girl®. The guitar coincides with the debut of American Girl character Tenney Grant™, a young, aspiring singer-songwriter who pursues her musical dreams in Nashville. Tenney's musical companion is her 6-string Taylor guitar. This GS Mini features a custom-decorated top that mirrors the artwork of Tenney's guitar.

Like Taylor's other standard GS Mini models, this edition blends a comfortably scaled-down size — making it easier for kids to hold and play — with a sound that's impressively full. The body is a smaller version of our Grand Symphony, with wood components that include layered sapele back and sides, a solid spruce top, and a fretboard and bridge of genuine ebony. The soundboard's custom artwork features a teal stain with a white floral design. Other contrasting touches include a white faux pearl pickguard and white/black soundhole rosette. Together with Taylor's legendary playability, this guitar makes a fun musical sidekick that's sure to inspire girls far and wide. The guitar comes with a GS Mini hard bag with adjustable backpack straps for easy carrying.

In addition, Taylor Guitars has partnered with the non-profit charity Notes For Notes® and for every GS Mini sold, Taylor will donate $100 to the charity.

"Music is powerful, especially in the lives and development of young boys and girls, so we were excited at the opportunity to partner with American Girl to encourage young girls to pick up a guitar," said Tim O'Brien, Vice President of Marketing at Taylor Guitars. "The program has also given us an opportunity to contribute to our non-profit charity partner Notes for Notes, an organization that plays a critical role in providing impactful music education experiences inside Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school centers across the country."
