The Lennon Report Screens at The Crest in Los Angeles on December 8 with Director Q&A

THE LENNON REPORT SCREENS WITH DIRECTOR Q&A

December 8th, The Crest in partnership with Beatles expert Brooke Halpin present THE LENNON REPORT, a docudrama chronicling the day Lennon died in New York. The story is told by the reporter who happened to be in the ER when John Lennon was rushed in with fatal gunshot wounds.

The Los Angeles premiere takes place December 8th to commemorate the day the icon died. Red carpet and musical guests are scheduled prior to the screening and director Jeremy Profe will take questions after the film along with Karen Tsen Lee who plays Yoko Ono.

Brooke Halpin radio host of Come Together With Brooke Halpin on KBU 97.5 Radio Malibu shares his extensive knowledge of The Beatles and their music, along with noted guests who have written books about The Beatles or have worked with them, as part of a monthly Beatles series at The Crest.

The Crest is located at 1262 Westwood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

About The Crest: The Crest is a unique combination of historical charm and modern performance technology and capabilities. Commissioned by Francis Seymour Fonda in 1940, the 460 seat theater houses a single movie screen with the ability to show 35 and 75mm films, a 4K digital projector, Dolby Digital sound, and an entertainment stage for live shows. In 2008, the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission voted unanimously to recommend the theater as a City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. The theater is gearing up to present a compelling mix of programming to the Los Angeles community in 2017 and invites programmers to creatively use the space.
