Product Review: Fender Newport 30W Bluetooth Speaker

This is Fender’s latest venture into pure sound!  Fender announced this summer their new line of Bluetooth speakers – The Newport and the Monterey.  We tested out The Newport which is the smaller of the two new speakers.

This little sound system looks a lot like a vintage Fender amp and projects sound with concert quality via Bluetooth technology.  This portable sound machine is very light and easy to transport from room to room or out on the deck to create a back drop of music for an instant party, or just play some smooth background music to ease the mind.

The coolest thing about this little sound box is the Bluetooth feature which enables you to pump your favorite Pandora radio stations, iTunes, or any of your music apps, for a continuous stream of your favorite music — or to take a phone call hands free!

The box is about 5”x7” with contoured sides, so it’s easy to pick up and carry.  It was so easy to set up right out of the box. Charge the battery with the included adapter, turn it on, go to your cell phone’s Bluetooth connection, select “Fender Newport, and you are ready to roll!  The Newport 30 watt speaker provides deep bass and great treble sounds that will want you “turning it up” when your favorite song comes on.

Priced at $199.00 from music retailers.
