Halloween music playlist – let’s boogie the night away!

If you’re past the trick or treat period, then Halloween is all about the looks, the decorations and the parties. If you’re getting ready for a boogie night, make sure to check off your list the top songs for a kick-ass routine on the dance floor. No matter if you’re dressing up for this night or organizing a party, these tunes will set the mood for a haunting time.

The success of a party playlist lies in mixing it up…and booze. You need classic songs, new tunes, but also themed-oriented ones. First you have the Halloween master theme. But if you’re also going for a specific era, decade or topic, you have to blend them all together so everybody can have fun. The inspiration below will get you going for the first hour.

Top 5 classic Halloween tunes

You can’t have a 30th of October monster bash without the tune from the Adam’s Family. Then comes the main soundtrack from Ghostbusters. These melodies are great conversation starters and they’ll get the party going. People love to reminiscent.

To continue the retro trip, come traditional tunes like Thriller by Michael Jackson, Zombie by The Cranberries and a more chilled song, I Put a Spell on You by Nina Simone. You always have to find a little something for everybody to chew and talk on as background. But these will also bring them moving their skeleton towards the dancing scene.

  2. Marilyn Manson – Killing Strangers because you can’t have a Halloween party without Marilyn
  3. Pendulum – Tarantula to give everybody a sweating song to recover from
  4. The Prodigy – Omen so to continue what Pendulum started
  5. Backstreet Boys – Everybody will laugh and have a creepy time

Top 10 modern Halloween tunes
This is by far the most exciting part. Everybody can relate to The Monster by Eminem and Rihanna, Demons by Imagine Dragons and Creep by Radiohead. These aren’t Halloween themed songs, but they sure will fit the night. The Black Keys – Howlin’ for you and The Killers – Mr. Brightside will please almost everybody’s funky mood.

Last, but definitely not least, comes a series of 5 songs that made some ladies famous: Shakira – She wolf, Rihanna – Disturbia, Lady Gaga – Bloody Mary, Taylor Swift – Look what you made me do and you can’t have a party without Queen Bee – Haunted, right?
