This is my first review of any type of iRig mic, but after using some of IK Multimedia's other products, and really liking them, I was ready to see what this compact mic could do.
As seen in Guitar Girl Magazine Issue 7 One of my favorite brands of guitars on earth is PRS. I remember when I first started playing guitar, and...
I was very excited to review the Ultimate Ears Sound Tap. As a new user of in-ear monitors for my live shows, I was looking around to see how I can make using them live a bit easier. Well,...
With the rise in popularity of the selfie, comes the selfie stick that even our Commander in Chief has found useful. IK Multimedia yesterday announced the release of their newest product, the iKlip Grip, a multifunction smartphone camera stand that literally is a 4-in-1 device. Not only can it be used for fun “selfies” to share on social media sites, it is quite handy for a multitude of uses to include a camera handler/stabilizer, a tripod, a monopod, or an adapter. I was given the opportunity to preview this product and was quite impressed.
As a predominantly rock guitarist, when I was asked to review the Luna Henna Oasis Spruce guitar, I thought I was going to review an electric guitar - cool. The box looked the right size and its weight was comfortable. When I got to my studio, I put it with my other guitars. There seems to be a growth in popularity of pick grip products and I recently tried Monstergrips. They are a small, clear circular shaped silicone grip that you apply to your pick. You really can not see it, which is my favorite thing about this grip, so it is not distracting.
How many times have you played a show and had a problem hearing, or wished that your amp was elevated somehow so you could hear better and reach it more easily? Probably enough times. There is an amp stand...
A few years ago, when I discovered the original iRig, i was so excited. As a musician that traveled, the iRig (in my case along with the IK multimedia app, AmpliTube) it gave me the ability to practice, record new song ideas, and transcribe songs while on the road with great sound quality, and minimal equipment. I loved the sound quality and ease of the apps that I found that even when I wasn't on the road, I was using the iRig for practicing and recording ideas at home.
