Regan Stewart on new single “The Last One” – Who What Where When Why

I grew up in a small town in Alabama singing in church. I would write songs, letters, and poems in my room. Music was something I loved, but never imagined it as something I could do with my life! It wasn’t until I interned at a radio station in college and saw an artist on her radio tour, that everything just clicked and made sense for me.

I grew up on The Chicks, Lee Ann Womack, Deana Carter, Brooks & Dunn, and most 90’s country artists. Crazy how much those artists influenced where I am today as an artist.

I moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue music. I’ve been writing songs and playing around town ever since. It took me a little while; writing and figuring out who I was as an artist and what I wanted to say. I feel like I am still evolving, so it’s a fun journey to be on!

I released my first single in August 2020, “Drop Dead Gorgeous,” followed by “Dancin’ Around It” in February 2021.

My newest single, “The Last One,” just came out in July and I am so excited to share it! It’s about not wanting a good time Friday night to end, which is super relatable living in a city that never really sleeps!

I have a couple more songs coming out very soon that I can’t wait for you to hear them.

We are just getting started!

Who What Where When Why

Who:     Regan Stewart

What:   “The Last One”

Where: Everywhere you listen to music!

When:  July 30, 2021

Why:     I wrote this song with Brandon Hood and Scott Stepakoff. I love it because it’s an uptempo jam that you can play on repeat. It’s about not wanting that Friday night to end, not wanting that drink to be empty, and not wanting that boy to walk away. It is a song about wanting the good moments to last forever. I felt like that was something everyone could relate to, especially me!
