When we think of Martin Guitars, the first word that comes to mind is probably “tradition”. Which makes sense, considering the company has been around since 1833 and has remained true to their classic designs. However, as more and more guitar companies embrace innovation, Martin has stepped outside of their own box to develop the SC-13E. The feature that catches the eye first is the offset body, which is not only comfortable in size and design but also helps provide a balanced output and enhances gain before feedback. With the performing guitarist in mind, Martin developed an all-new patent-pending Sure Align neck system that consists of a new low-profile velocity neck and a heelless cutaway for a smooth, comfortable playing experience across the entire fretboard. Last but not least, this model comes equipped with Fishman MX-T pickups for a superb tone on or off the stage. The comfort, playability, and intuitive design of the SC-13E model rivals that of an electric guitar, giving other established acoustic guitar companies a run for their money.
