BandFuse: Rock Legends Launch Party

The House of Blues in Los Angeles was abuzz with activity last night at the launch party of BandFuse: Rock Legends, the music video game where legendary rockers transform players of all skill levels into real-world guitarists, bassists and vocalists. In attendance were Slash, Bootsy Collins, Evan Ross, Corbin Bleu, Gilby Clarke, PJ Morton, Malina Moye, Missi Pyle, Ashlee Simpson, among many other celebrities and musicians. In advance of the game's November 19 launch date, guests had an opportunity to try out the game and take in a very special performance by a house band comprised of rock legends, featuring special performances by Slash, Bootsy Collins and Nikka Costa.

Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill Heading to Broadway

Alanis Morissette’s Grammy-winning 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill, will be heading to Broadway in 2014. Two-time Tony Award winner Tom Kitt (Next To Normal, Green Day’s American Idiot) has signed on to provide orchestrations and arrangements and will be produced by Vivek J. Tiwary, who brought Green Day’s “American Idiot” to Broadway, and  Arvind Ethan David. Morissette says in the press release, “I look forward to collaborating with Vivek and Tom and our whole inspiring team to create something greater than the sum of our parts.”

Women in Country Music at the 47th Annual CMA Awards

The 47th Annual CMA Awards held Wednesday evening on ABC featured great entertainment by so many talented country artists as well as humorous jokes by hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and the many presenters; from the “Why Can’t We Be Friends” dealing with some of the inside feuds between several country artists, the “Obamacare By Morning” on the failed Healthcare.gov website, to the parody of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” with the Miley Cyrus twerking by the Duck Dynasty gang.

Originally moving to New York to pursue a career in musical theatre, Hannah quickly discovered she would much rather pursue a career as a musician. So, her journey began!
