More and more bass players are discovering the benefits of Porter & Davies’ world-leading silent tactile monitoring systems, especially the hugely versatile new KT Platform.

Sought after session bassist Bill Banwell has established himself firmly on the UK and International bass scene by working with acts including the Hoosiers and Rag’n’Bone Man.  He simply says, “Loving the new Porter & Davies KT Concert Platform, it’s well good and that!” Fellow top session bassist Brendan Grieve will be putting his Porter & Davies rig to good use on his current tour with multi-Grammy Award winner Sam Smith.

Chris Rea’s bassist James Ahwai says “I was really happy with the KT Platform and I’m looking forward to using it more. I’ve tried it out on IEMs without an amp and it’s great,” and newcomer David Baker with Ella Eyre is “Loving the KT Platform so much! It’s really brought a whole new life to my rig

In the US, bass player Benjamin Sturley, who works with Noah Cyrus and Selena Gomez said about his KT Platform “Wow, this is a game changer. This feels incredible. Really makes it possible on a silent stage to have more of a connection with the crowd and the music.”

Meanwhile, Canadian bassist Doug Elash who plays with Tim Hicks says “It has been a game changer for me since the Tim Hicks band went exclusively with amp modeling. Even with a great in-ear mix I still missed my amp. Now I find using the platform is even better than having my amp.” Doug is using a TT6 Equipped KT Platform.

Other notable KT Platform users include Dave Swift, bass, (Jools Holland), Robbie Bronimann, keyboards, (Howard Jones), James Wyatt, keyboards, (Lianne La Havas) and Myles Kellock, keyboards, (Blossoms).

The KT Platform is available with any of the three Porter & Davies engines, the BC2, rackmount BC2rm and Gigster. The TT6 Equipped KT Platform and the KT Concert Platform are both fitted with the Porter & Davies TT6 1,000w super transducer and the KT Concert Platform is twice the size making it ideal for those who like to move around when playing.
