Advanced ergonomics offer increased efficiency and comfort with less risk of repetitive strain injuries

AUSTIN, TX – April 16, 2019 – (GuitarPR) – Torzal Guitars has announced the expansion of their unique line of basses featuring a patented Natural Twist design. With its innovative twisted neck, lightweight body, perfect balance, and infinite capacity for customization, the Torzal Natural Twist offers a more seamless interaction with the human body. The ergonomic design increases the efficiency of the hands, wrists, and arms, reducing the risk of developing repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis. It also provides relief for those who have already suffered from such injuries.

The Torzal Neck-through Bass is the no-compromise version of the Natural Twist ergonomic design. The neck is rotated +15° at the bridge and –20° at the nut, for a total of 35° of twist. The Torzal Neck-through Bass is available as 4-string, 5-string, or 6-string.

The Torzal Bolt-on Bass features a radiused body with a 20° Natural Twist neck. On this model, the bridge is flat on the body (0°) and the neck rotates to -20° at the nut for more comfortable fretting. The advantage of the Torzal Bolt-on Bass is a more customary feel of a flat string plane at the body while still providing ergonomic benefit for the fretting hand. The Torzal Bolt-on Bass is available in 4-string and 5-string.

The Torzal J Bass has a classic vibe, but it’s a little smaller, curvier and sexier. It is available as 4-string or 5-string with a Natural Twist neck (-20° at the nut, the same as other Torzal Bolt-on models), or with a conventional straight neck.

According to Torzal Guitars founder, Jerome Little, “As a bass player, I knew that playing can place significant strains on your nerves and muscles, sometimes with serious and long-lasting effects. That’s why the Natural Twist was specifically designed to reduce hyperflexion, ease unnecessary stress, and fit the contours of your body in the most natural way.”
