WHAT: Tomorrow, ASCAP Rhythm & Soul presents their next #ASCAPRealSounds event, “Deconstructed” with singer/songwriter Kirby. The session is part of ASCAP Rhythm & Soul’s weekly live streaming series which has featured previous guests Warner Records A&R Executive Norva Denton, producer OG Parker, Artist Bri Babineaux and songwriter/producer Dre Moon.
#ASCAPRealSounds “Deconstructed” is a live conversation with a producer and/or songwriter who provides a behind-the-scenes look at some of their biggest records. Viewers learn about various components of the creation of two to three tracks, including the programming, layered production, beat breakdowns and suggestions the producer or songwriter may have used from other collaborators.
WHO: Billboard-charting singer/songwriter, Kirby is a Roc Nation songwriter behind popular hits “Die With You” by Beyoncé, “Only One” by Kanye West and Paul McCartney, “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney, “Break Your Heart Right Back” by Ariana Grande, and many more. Kirby is a native of Southaven, Mississippi and an alumna of Berklee College of Music.
