(Los Angeles, CA) – January 13, 2022 – The Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp‘s first EVER WOMEN ONLY Rock Camp is less than two weeks away! This inaugural camp will be taking place in Los Angeles, CA beginning on Thursday, January 27 and continuing through the weekend before concluding with a live finale event at The Whisky on January 30, 2022. This exciting camp features special headlining mentors: Melissa Etheridge, Nancy Wilson, Kathy Valentine, and Orianthi. Catch all four ladies as they sit down to chat with SiriusXM’s Lori Majewski for the Volume Channel’s “Fierce: Women in Music” segment, debuting at 7pm ET /4pm PT on Thursday, January 13.

Everyone’s safety is of primary concern for The Fantasy Camp team. To that end, new COVID safety measures have been instituted for this camp with our very own dedicated female COVID Compliance officer onboard to monitor test results, take daily temperatures and monitor mask wearing inside any of the rehearsal spaces. All other activities will take place outdoors where a tent and stage will be constructed for all interactions with the Rock Star counselors. Additionally, anyone attending the camp; all campers, rockers, staff, and crew absolutely must be vaccinated, with no exemptions and PCR test results will need to be presented before beginning camp.

Last weekend, the very first in-person Rock Camp since the pandemic, took place in South Florida to great success!  Campers came from all over the U.S. to rock out with Dave Mustaine, Nicko McBrain and Steve Morse with all events held outside and under strict Covid protocol. “This was the most amazing experience I have ever had and that includes crossing the finish line in Ironman…You brought a group of strangers together and turned us into a team (band). You should be given a medal.” – Debbie, camper from Orlando, FL.

At the signature Rock Camps, participants form a band where they are then mentored by their rock star counselor and rehearse songs to jam with the special guests. Some of the rockstar mentors for this Girls Only camp include heavy hitters like Rhonda Smith (Prince, Jeff Beck), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Eva Gardner (P!nk, Gwen Stefani), Ashley Reeve (Cher, Filter), Jennie Vee (Eagles of Death Metal) and many more. Throughout the four days, campers will experience masterclasses, Q&A sessions and themed jam rooms, before it all culminates with a live performance in front of an all-ages crowd at the world famous Whisky A Go Go, in Hollywood on Sunday, January 30, 2022. In addition to the women headlining, the crew and staff working on the event will be composed of an entirely female workforce.

Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp was created 25 years ago to provide real people the once-in-a-lifetime experience of connecting and jamming with their musical heroes. The Camp has provided unforgettable memories, advice and feedback for attendees worldwide. Camp events span over four jam packed days where campers join a band mentored by today’s top touring musicians, and work up to final performances with the headliner rockstars at legendary venues from Abbey Road Studios in London, to Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go, to the Atlantis resort in The Bahamas.

This latest in-person Camp comes on the heels of the tremendously successful 2021 documentary Rock Camp, The Movie. “Entertaining”, “inspiring” and “moving” are how critics, audiences and industry leaders describe the new documentary Rock Camp. The film follows four real people who attend Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp and how it transforms their lives. These “rock campers” share the stage with superstar counselors including Roger Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, Joe Perry, Judas Priest, Sammy Hagar and many more.
