Brand Spotlight: Strung Guitar String Jewelry, the jewelry that gives back

If you’re looking for some rock and roll inspired jewelry this holiday season at an affordable price, look no further than Strung jewelry?

Strung jewelry was created by musicians for music lovers, is made right here in the USA, and is the creation of Jenny Mann and Tim Barbour, original members of the rock band Blameshift.  In 2012, the band spent over 200 days touring the country and Jenny noticed all of the strings that guitarist Tim was constantly changing and leaving all over the tour bus. That inspired her to make bracelets from the used strings and she began selling them at their merch table at shows.

Ironically, the bracelets began selling more than their band merch and after selling more than 2,000 bracelets, they realized they were on to something.

They officially launched their business in July of 2016 and can now be found in over 100 retail stores across the US and internationally, as well as their online store.  They have also partnered with Urban Outfitters on several events and have launched an artist platform called Strung Live. Strung jewelry also supports various musical education charities for children.

The jewelry is made from guitar strings and are sold as single bracelets, on sale now starting around $19.00, or in sets for stacking starting at $45.00. The bracelets have different charms to choose from including peace signs, skulls, music notes, stars, hearts, and more, and have song titles that inspired them. They also offer bead bracelets (which look great layered with the guitar string bracelets) and choker cord necklaces made of faux leather.
