With today, September 13, being the last day of performances for Americanafest, let’s check out some of the top talent for today’s picks. Find out more about who we’ve picked below:

1. Liz Brasher – Mercy Lounge – September 13 @ 8pm – Brasher is a soul-singer, who’s guitar playing skills are influenced from her multi-ethnic upbringing and her adopted hometown of Memphis. Her guitar playing and stunning showcase is one not to miss.

2. Amythyst Kiah – Station Inn – September 13 @ 9:30pm – Kiah is a powerful vocalist, who’s voice is accompanied by banjo, acoustic guitar, or her band, and holds inspiration from folk, country, blues and alternative rock. She recently collaborated with Our Native Daughters with Rhiannon Giddens, Leyla McCalla and Allison Russell, and is currently promoting her full-length album produced by Giddens, Dirk Powell and Songs of Our Native Daughters.

3. Gretchen Peters – The Anchor – September 13 @ 8:30pm – An emotionally convicting and compelling singer and songwriter, Peters, has been immersed in the Nashville scene for a few decades now. Peters writes and sings about thoughts, ideas and events that are important to her, especially female characters, and is currently promoting her new album, Dancing with the Beast.

4. Lori McKenna – The Anchor – September 13 @ 10:30pm – McKenna is a well-known hit singer and songwriter, co-penning the hit single by Little Big Town, “Girl Crush.” Grammy-nominated also, she became the first woman in 2016 to ever win the CMA’s Song of the Years two years in a row. Her current album, out now, is The Tree.

5. Lilly Hiatt – The High Watt – September 13 @ 11:00pm – Honesty and personal truths make up Hiatt’s third LP, Trinity Lane, and features her most personal stories about where she’s been and where she’s going, using her guitar as the intricate vessel. The album was produced by Michael Trent, of the critically acclaimed husband-wife duo, Shovels & Rope, who helped Hiatt bring out not only her soft, melancholy parts of herself, but also the rocker inside her.
