London, UK, August 12, 2019—BOSS, a world-leading guitar effects and amplifier brand, and ArcTanGent, voted the UK’s best small music festival, have partnered to bring a unique musical gear-driven experience to music fans this year. The ArcTanGent progressive rock and metal festival, taking place near Bristol, UK, on Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin, August 15 – 17, 2019, is being outfitted with a BOSS music demo studio made from a 20-foot shipping container—complete with viewing platform roof, stretch tent, and seating. And it’s here where BOSS and ArcTanGent will host exclusive breakfast sessions with the bands Toska, CLT DRP, a-tota-so, Aiming for Enrike, Midas Fall, and Wild Cat Strike. Festival goers can arrive early on Friday and Saturday to see these bands demonstrate how they use their BOSS guitar effects pedals while explaining their set ups and how they achieve their sounds. A wide range of BOSS pedals and other equipment from Roland will be on hand in this demo studio as well for anyone attending the show to try.
ArcTanGent Festival Director Goc O’Callaghan offered, “It’s great to be working with BOSS again this year. ArcTanGent and BOSS are a perfect partnership. The people attending this festival are very into their music —they know so much, including the more technical side of the equipment, so having bands demonstrate how they use their BOSS pedals will definitely appeal to the ‘geeky’ side of many. It’s not uncommon to see our attendees taking photos of pedal boards rather than the musicians.” O’Callaghan continued, “It’s been a long process to get the shipping container in place but well worth it. And announcing the BOSS shipping container demo studio just a couple of days after our exclusive show at Metropolis Studios shows the level of commitment both the festival and BOSS have to providing great customer experiences.”
European BOSS Product Sales Manager Matt Knight added, “BOSS is very pleased to be teaming up with ArcTanGent. The festival showcases some of the most important bands and musicians in modern music who are always looking to push boundaries and innovate, which ties in perfectly with BOSS and our rich history in music. Many of the musicians and attendees will know BOSS from over 40 years of history in the world of effects, and we are so happy to have a special space on site to showcase all the creative and amazing gear for musicians attending the festival. We are excited to welcome ArcTanGent festival attendees to our very own, on-site BOSS pop-up and showcase not only some cool gear but some amazing bands as well.”
