Caroline Glaser of The Voice to Kick-off US Tour

“Her voice was incredible and the songs she sang had the crowd standing close in awe of the young singer.” Tulsa World

PRESS RELEASE:  Caroline Glaser, a favorite from this past season of NBC’s hit show “The Voice,” will bring what Shakira calls her “angelic” voice on the road this fall as opener for the critically acclaimed a cappella group, Straight No Chaser.  The “Under the Influence” Tour kicks off in Columbia, MO on October 16 and will hit Omaha, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Louisville, Chicago, Boston, Cleveland, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Nashville and more over two months before wrapping up in Mesa, AZ on December 31. The SNC tour follows a month-long run of club dates which kicked off in New York on September 7 where fans lined up two hours before the show was scheduled to go on to make sure they got tickets.  The mini-tour took her to Chicago, Ames, St. Louis and Tulsa where she received rave reviews. Jerry Wofford of The Tulsa World called her “sweet and bubbly” and said while her set up was simple, “her voice and talent was all she needed to hook the crowd.”  Caroline will also be playing a handful of solo shows during the SNC tour.

Caroline will continue to preview material she’s been working on since her appearance on “The Voice,” mixing her new music with some of her well received covers which you can check out here.  Before she hits the road with SNC, Caroline will head into the studio to begin recording music for her debut EP which will be released before the end of the year.  She’s also been collaborating and writing with a ton of incredible artists, including Angaleena Presley of The Pistol Annies.  Stay tuned for more details on the release of her new EP!

The 19 year-old Chesterfield, MO native, who was given the key to the city on August 19, seems to be settling into the spotlight well.  She went from playing coffee houses to appearing on national TV and winning the hearts of millions of viewers and “The Voice” judges.  Of her initial try-out, Blake Shelton raved, “You came out here and just did a very simple performance and completely blew my mind with it.”  Shakira showered Caroline with accolades, saying her voice was “the kind of voice I’ve been waiting for.”

When asked about heading out on the road with SNC Caroline had this to say, “I’m really excited to tour with Straight No Chaser.  The guys are amazing and so, so talented.”  She goes on, “I’m looking forward to playing for them and their fans, but also getting the chance to see them live every night!  It’s going to be incredible to play some of my new music for my fans and to make some new ones along the way.”

Seggie Isho of Straight No Chaser had this to say about Caroline opening for them, “We are excited to have Caroline join us on tour this fall.  We’ve never had an opening act before but we were all equally impressed with Caroline as both a person and a singer.  She is a unique and special talent and we’re looking forward to having her join us on stage each night.”
