TAMPA, FL — Dean Guitars’ journey of innovation continues with the introduction of the Exile Select Series of electric guitars. The six new models in this collection are designed with high-performance players in mind, and features that will help unleash the beast of tonal flexibility and attain the next level of shredding glory.

The Exile Select Series is just one of the collections in Dean Guitars’ Select Series, a top-tier import line that launched last year. These are well-appointed guitars, designed by the musician staff at Dean Guitars, with premium pickups, stunning finishes, and myriad features meant to enhance the playing experience in a way that allows players to define their own sound and style. The six new models in the Exile Select Series now give players more options, including two finish options, 6- or 7-string configuration, and with or without a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge system.

Players can now choose an Exile guitar with either a burled poplar top or a satin-finished quilt maple top. Both variants offer a high-access alder body and a three-piece Slim D-shape maple neck. The ebony fretboard, with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays, is carved to a flat 16-inch radius for easier scale runs and string bends. The bolt-on neck (25 ½” scale length) is supported by a dual-action truss rod. Mini Grover tuners at the headstock on all Exile models assist with precise and consistent tuning. The body offers Dean Guitars’ iconic Exile shape as well as a beveled edge to further improve player comfort. On each Exile guitar, the breathtaking finish and 5-ply body and headstock binding tie it all together with class and ferocity.

For electronics, the Exile Select Series offers versatile EMG 57TW / 66TW coil-split pickups with Dean Guitars’ exclusive brushed chrome finish. The push/pull volume and tone pots allow each pickup to be split from a humbucker to a single coil, and the 5-way selector gives the player unlimited options.

The Exile Select Series is designed by professional musicians for professional musicians without breaking the bank. With street prices ranging from $1049 to $1299, players can feel confident in choosing a high-quality shred machine that won’t incinerate their bank account.
