The first thing to notice is the rose-inspired artwork adorning the guitar front and center. Next is the beautiful, laminated spruce top with rosewood bridge. It’s no accident spruce is the wood most widely used on acoustic guitar tops. Its bright, responsive tone and wide dynamic range makes it the perfect sound board for acoustic guitars of all sizes. Eastern mahogany on the back and sides adds warmth with a slightly crisp tone. Together, these tonewoods combine to create a full-bodied, well-rounded texture normally reserved for acoustics more than double the price. The top and body is finished in Gloss Natural to show its natural beauty. It is then bound in 4 Ply W/B/W/B binding.
The set Eastern mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard, adding rich and complex tones to the mix. The C Shape neck provides comfort and ease of playability for any number of playing styles. The Oracle Rose Acoustic/Electric features 20 frets, a bone nut, and Luna’s classic Moon Phase Pearloid Inlays adorn the 25 ½” scale length making this guitar not only attractive, but easy to play. The neck is then bound in a single ply Black walnut binding. The classic acoustic headstock features Luna Guitars’ distinctive logo. It is finished in Gloss Natural and comes with six chrome sealed die cast tuners.
Luna’s SL3 w/ Tuner is the pre-amp of choice for this acoustic/electric. And the onboard tuner makes being in tune simple and easy. OEM coated phosphor bronze strings (.012 -.053) put the finishing touches on this masterpiece.
