Luna Guitars Rejuvenates Creative Spirit with Fauna Phoenix Acoustic-Electric Black

TAMPA, FL — Luna Guitars introduces the Fauna Phoenix Acoustic-Electric Black, a majestic instrument designed to renew players’ creative spirit and guide them along their musical journey. The soaring bird in abalone is stunning against the black lacquer-look finish of this cutaway folk-style instrument. Built with high-quality materials and equipped with a Fishman preamp and onboard built-in tuner, the Fauna Phoenix is a stage-ready companion that captures aesthetic attention while delivering an unforgettable, sonically powerful performance.

The Fauna Phoenix’s distinctive design reflects the spirit of ancient mythology’s quintessential symbol of rebirth. Just as the phoenix obtains new life by rising from the ashes, the Fauna Phoenix renews the life of the tonal woods that form its solid foundation. The select spruce top and mahogany back and sides combine for a full-range sound that resonates fully, whether strumming or fingerpicking. The set-neck construction allows resonance to transfer more freely between the mahogany C-shaped neck, supported by dual-action truss rod, and the grand concert cutaway body reinforced with 3-ply binding. Beauty takes full flight with the abalone phoenix, which captures both the eye and imagination. Representing beauty, power, vision, and inspiration, the phoenix arches powerfully across the guitar’s Classic Black finish. Sparkling abalone is also used for the gorgeous crescent moon around the soundhole, the moon phase inlays on the fretboard, and Luna’s signature logo on the headstock.

The Fauna Phoenix offers superb playability with a classic 25 1/2” scale length and an elegant 20-fret pau ferro fretboard with 12” radius. The neck’s slender profile puts even challenging notes and chords within easy reach. Pau ferro is used again at the piezo bridge that provides excellent sustain, and the GraphTech NuBone (1 11/16” width) made with the company’s highly resonant TUSQ material. Brushed nickel die-cast tuners provide smooth and precise adjustment for the included D’Addario EXP16 coated strings.

When the player’s mood turns electric, the Fishman Presys II pre-amp provides enough power for any setting. The equalizer allows the player to shape the sound to perfection with volume, bass, and treble controls, as well as phase. The built-in electronic tuner makes it easy to keep tones true and on-key during live performances.

From top to bottom, Luna Guitars’ Fauna Phoenix Acoustic-Electric Black is a one-of-a-kind instrument for players who want to celebrate the timeless joy of music and channel their inner creativity through design. At a street price of $699, players can replenish their inspiration without depleting their bank account.
