On inspiration behind “So That Girl,” Hefley explains, “I was hanging out with some friends one night, and this guy in our friend group’s girlfriend kept calling him over and over making him step outside to talk and basically creating so much drama,” says Hefley on what inspired her new single. “I just thought, life is too short—find someone fun who appreciates you! So we wrote So That Girl.”

Previously Hefley released a thoughtful empowerment song with smart lyrics you can’t help but sing along to (Cowboys & Indians / Kristin Brown) with her single “Dust on a Diamond,” which she performed on legendary WSM-AM’s ‘Nashville Today.
