Behind Adobe Punk: A Virtual Preview w/ Nina Diaz (Girl In A Coma, Elvis Costello), creators and cast

Wednesday, January 26, 2022 (Los Angeles, California) — Behind Adobe Punk: A Virtual Preview is an hour long streaming event presented by About…Productions. It will highlight the upcoming premiere of Adobe Punk including a selection of original songs performed by composer Nina Diaz (Girl In A ComaElvis Costello), co-writer of the songbook together with About…Productions Artistic Director and co-founder, Theresa Chavez.

Adobe Punk co-creators Theresa Chavez and Gabriel Garza will be featured throughout the preview event along side set designer Dorothy Hoover; music director Sage Lewis; cast members Karis BrizendineIsaac Cruz, and Giselle Etessami. Panelist/moderator Jorge Leal will lead a Q&A segment and will respond to the scene excerpts.

Theresa Chavez and Nina Diaz explain: “We’re excited to share our original songs in this virtual preview. In Adobe Punk, the 3-piece punk band performs and writes the songs we’ve penned as part of the narrative. It’s been interesting to get inside the same writing process as our characters. This preview will give our audience a glimpse into the songbook, and a glimpse of Nina performing live.”

This virtual event is free and open to the public. It will be broadcast live on YouTube.
