BRAND X MUSIC NAMES ALICIA RICHARDS HEAD OF CREATIVE SYNC

(Los Angeles, October 28, 2020) Brand X Music welcomes Alicia Richards as its Head of Creative Sync- as announced today by Co-Owners John Sponsler and Tom Gire.

Representing the company’s five catalogues, she oversees the sync department and orchestrates placements for an in-house library comprised of 8,000-plus tracks, 115 albums, and 55 original songs by seven artists across four genres-pop, rock, indie, and folk. Additionally, she cultivates the development of the catalogue and augments sync licensing efforts to further expand the impact and resonance of this music industrywide.

“Brand X Music is creator-owned, which really spoke to me,” said Richards. “It’s such a unique company in this respect. Tom and John have fostered a team environment where everyone is a collaborator. I’m looking forward to helping the company reach new benchmarks while innovating and moving forward. It’s the perfect situation and an exciting opportunity to build on their reputation for quality music.”

For the past two years, Richards ran her own firm AR Music Services where she handled projects for clients such as Viacom, Turner Network, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Television, Jax Media, Audible, Millennium Films, and Radical Media. Just prior, she spent three years at Warner Bros. Records as Senior Vice President Creative Sync. Her career also spans executive posts in sync at Sony Music Entertainment and Disney Music Publishing.

In other big news, Brand X Music also rolls out a brand new company website. The sleek platform simplifies the search and shows the depth of the five catalogues. The user-friendly interface enables clients to find music that matches their needs for any campaigns. The library consists of five primary pillars: Trailer Music, Production Music, Songs For Sync, Architect’s Series, and Editor’s Essentials. It provides a seamless resource with the utmost ease of use and searchability.

Typically cited as the premiere music library for motion picture and entertainment advertising, Brand X Music boasts an impeccable 22-year track record. Among hundreds of credits, Tom and John have composed cues for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Despicable Me in addition to assisting on Academy Award-nominated scores for Memoirs of a Geisha and Munich. Not to mention, they’ve scored custom film trailers from the first Matrix teaser in 1999 through the entire Harry Potter series and even Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker in addition to major campaigns for Boeing, The US Navy, Scion, Gatorade, and Wendy’s.
Be on the lookout for more soon.
