NASHVILLE, TENN. – Breakout country artist Bailey James has been flourishing since the release of her latest single Finally Free. She is celebrating this release by achieving multiple accomplishments, including making an impact at mainstream country radio. With a growing number of program directors adding it to their station’s regular rotation, Bailey has officially earned her spot on the Billboard Indicator Chart.
Finally Free is available on all digital streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. Prior to the release, the song landed in the Top 5 on PlayMPE’s most-streamed country singles, putting her in the same category with Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion, Florida Georgia Line and others. The song also recently received the Circle Song Of The Week honor which was presented by the Grand Ole Opry and was mentioned by Natalie Stovall (award winning vocalist, multi-instrumentalist).
All of Bailey’s accomplishments since this single release have led to her first Billboard-charting hit and she couldn’t be happier. “I am so excited to be on the Billboard charts next to some of my idols. It’s an incredible feeling,” says Bailey.
The raw, truthful lyrics of Finally Free are representative of the young powerhouse. “The song was about a bad breakup. My first real heartbreak. It was the worst and I found that the best way to get rid of all those emotions was to write it all out,” she says. “This song represents who I am as an artist.”
