At some point in their lives, everyone experiences watching an ex move on to someone new. It’s part of growing up. Inspired by Taylor Swift’s ‘Tis The Damn Season, Cece’s new song touches on the heartbreak one experiences when the person that they used to love from home moves on. With vulnerability, Cece explores the confusion and pain that comes with this in We’re Over Now – out now on all streaming platforms.
We’re Over Now is Cece’s first release since the release of her debut EP, Growing Pains. This sounds and feels like the beginning of a new era for her and all that she has lined up for 2025. She has more music coming in the new year and is excited for people to hear these songs and to play them live.
Cece Benz is an Atlanta based singer-songwriter, blending indie pop with confessional songwriting. Her songs explore themes of growth, vulnerability, and resilience. “I am so excited for this song to be out in the world. This is the beginning of something really fun and exciting for me and my artistry. This song encapsulates a feeling that I think is very real and relatable for a lot of people, especially with it coming out right before the holidays!”
