NASHVILLE, TENN. – (June 19, 2020) – “Uncommon Man” by recording artist and songwriter, Dallas Remington, continues to rise up the Country music charts. Today Remington announced the release of a very special lyric video with images of fathers worldwide in honor of Father’s Day sent to her by family, friends, and fans of their father’s who represent the hard-working sector. The heart-tugging lyrics to “Uncommon Man” represent her father and the song is dedicated to all essential workers amid the Covid-19 pandemic who sacrificed to work through a time of unknown and uncertainty. The heartfelt tune was penned by Remington and co-writer Courtney Bumbacher. The video is currently available to watch and share on YouTube.
“Uncommon Man” is available for streaming and download on all digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, and more here.
“When we began making the lyric video for “Uncommon Man”, I immediately knew I wanted to include pictures of my family, friends, and fans. I am so blessed that my friends and fans chose to share their uncommon men and memories with us,” shared Dallas Remington. “During this process, we shed many tears of joy and respect looking through my family photos and reading the stories behind the pictures my friends and fans submitted. Searching through my own family’s photographs, we found one of my Great Grandpa and my Great Uncle Jim with the team of mules that they mortgaged our family farm for. Through ‘Blood, sweat, and tears’ plus a lot of faith, they survived and I’m proud to be part of the fourth generation on that farm.”
The “Uncommon Man” lyric video showcases fan-submitted photos of the uncommon men and women in their lives. We all have uncommon loved ones we are proud of, so it was very important to me to share these special people. From the farmers to the single mom who has worked midnight shifts for 22 years, to the men in uniform protecting us every day, to the retired Navy/Peace Corps grandfather who helped raise his grandchildren and teach them to farm, to a shoe Cobbler of 40 years, plus many other amazing people; these are the men and women who make our world go round and they deserve to be in the spotlight.
