Los Angeles, CA | December 2023 – Gritty In Pink wrapped up their monumental year
with their Gritty Wonderland: Holiday Soiree at The Peppermint Club on December 5.
The 21+ event was sponsored by Live Nation Women, along with support from
Tunecore, Johnnie Walker, NoMoSu, LaPar, Matter Of Fact, Guitar Girl Magazine,
and Gritty In Pink’s new talent hub to hire women in music, INPINK.
DJ Sterling Victorian kicked off the night with an energetic DJ set and performance.
Gritty In Pink Founder/CEO Shira Yevin welcomed the audience with a speech
including 2023 company milestones. Sterling Victorian closed out her set with a surprise live performance, and spoke about how important the Gritty community is to her. “I’m so
grateful for this tribe, for the Gritty community, you guys have given me a family – a
female family more importantly. One that I can rock out with, share my talent with, and
grow with. That’s what Christmas and family is all about.”
Next, Shiragirl put her spin on the “Hanukkah Song” with the help of VK Lynne. Finally,
guests got a taste of an All GRL Jam performance from Shanice Antonia, who
performed “All I Want For Christmas Is You” alongside Jasmine Crowe, Christina La
Rocca, Kat Dyson, Aurora Celena, Vashonda Sherra and Melanie Jo. In the second
half of the night, DJ Cristy Lawrence, also Gritty’s December Bandmate of the Month,
took to the stage with her energetic set to keep the crowd moving for the rest of the
night. Partygoers got to enjoy Johnnie Walker cocktails curated for the event.
Attendees included Gritty musicians Dani Hagan, Jasmine Day, Alex Windsor, Lisa
Bianco, Cheri Moon, and many more! Also in attendance were colleagues from Live
Nation, Tunecore, and Music Managers Forum. Other highlights of the evening were
the crowd engaging in Gritty trivia and a Bandmate of the Month presentation, where
this year’s bandmates were gifted their magazine covers. Artists and VIPs were treated
to swag bags that included custom engraved bottles from Johnnie Walker, La Par nail
polish, Matter of Fact skincare, and NoMoSu chocolates.
