SHOWCASE WILL FEATURE 50 WOMXN ARTISTS COVERING YOUR FAVORITE EMPOWERMENT JAMS

Gritty In Pink’s All GRL Jam monthly residency series features 50 women/non-binary musicians performing themed cover songs held in partnership with Live Nation. For this year’s Women’s Month edition, attendees can expect a night of women empowerment anthems. The event is free with RSVP and login to Gritty In Pink’s new online marketplace INPINK at the door. The showcase will feature sets from DJ Cristy Lawrence as well as opening performances from Senegalese singer-songwriter Marieme, whose catalog fittingly includes the mantra anthem “Be the Change” and pop force Chel, whose repertoire includes “Nasty Woman.” The night will be co-hosted by Gritty In Pink founder, Shira Yevin (Shiragirl) and the dynamic Kym Priess (Stunt Driver). The All GRL Jam will include rising Swedish pop star Manda Malina, the multifaceted singer/drummer Marlhy, songstress/DJ Sterling Victorian, singer-songwriter Nina Grae, gritty mainstay VK Lynne (The Spider Accomplice), powerhouse Dani Hagan, and many more! The night will also feature a women’s equality patio with tabling from non-profit organizations LB/OC Women Rising and Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights.

Prior to the showcase, Gritty In Pink will host a pre-show Instagram live stream on Wednesday, March 1. To those in the LA area, we’ll see you at The Echo on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 PM!
