HANNAH DASHER RELEASES FIVE-SONG COLLECTION, “THE HALF RECORD”

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, rising Sony Music Nashville artist Hannah Dasher releases her five-song collection The Half RecordListen here.

“It feels like my fans and I have been waiting a lifetime for this half record,” shares Dasher, “but I’m ready and I’m grateful ’cause this is just a taste of what’s to come.”

On The Half Record, Dasher channels country legend Lorrie Morgan as well as inspirations like Hank Jr. and Aretha Franklin, adding a fresh spin to the 90s country cassettes of her childhood — topped with a dash of soul and rock n’ roll influences. Billboard commented of Dasher: “There’s a cutting edge to her voice that recalls ’90s Lorrie Morgan records, though Dasher sounds more Southern and uses a tougher instrumental palette.”

Here’s what critics are saying:

“Georgia badass” — Rolling Stone

“her voice has just the right amount of leather and lace” — Billboard

“transcendent nature… evolved sonic bits” — American Songwriter

“we are listening to a future star”– Music Row

“sharp lyrics” — Sounds Like Nashville

Dasher’s “Stand By Your Pan” TikTok series has helped her amass over 1.2 million followers and more than 14 million likes on platform. Pegged as “TikTok’s Minnie Pearl” by The New York Times’ Popcast, she recently partnered with Fritos for the #FritosFromHome campaign alongside celeb chef Jordan Andino.
