NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country rocker Kasey Tyndall dives into the relatable period in life when everyone around you starts hitting those adult milestones before you. “Babies,” available everywhere today, unleashes Tyndall’s doubts, fears and ultimate acceptance of following a non-traditional life path, proving further why Rolling Stone dubbed her as a “hard-rock country badass.” This new track highlights the specific in-between time in your 20s when you deal with issues like having your dream engagement ring picked out, but not knowing when you want to settle down.
“‘Babies’ is one of my favorite releases to date,” shares Tyndall. “It’s one of those real life songs that just poured out of Smith (Ahnquist), Gary (Garris) and myself. It is where I am at in my life and I feel like so many others can relate. We all have this feeling of needing to be on the same timeline as everyone else instead of just following our hearts and being happy with where we are at. I can’t wait for everyone to hear ‘Babies!'”
The “hard-hitting” (Raised Rowdy) artist stays true to her “rock-inflected country” (Detroit Free Press) tone while describing the way society values buying a home and starting a family. The track highlights the signature “edgier rock stylings” (American Songwriter) from Tyndall. Produced by Derek Wells and written by Tyndall, Smith Ahnquist, Garry Garris, “Babies” marks her second release in 2022.
Tyndall just wrapped the spring leg of Drake White’s Optimystic Tour, which concluded on May 20, in Nashville, Tenn. at a sold-out Brooklyn Bowl show. The Greenville, N.C. native has spent the last calendar year performing with Jamey Johnson, Whiskey Myers, and Bret Michaels.
