I wrote “Home for Christmas” about wishing someone you love could be with you during the holidays—whether it’s a family member, boyfriend, girlfriend, or anyone who’s far away. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, and getting to write my own Christmas songs is so special to me! I wanted this song to capture that feeling of hoping for a little holiday magic to bring someone home.
