Raveis Kole Performs at Star-Studded Crown Guitar Festival; Includes Such Artists as Edgar Winter, Jim Messina, Rusty Young, Among Others

Bellingham, Wash. (Sept. 12, 2018) —- Raveis Kole has returned from a successful performance and workshop at the Crown Guitar Festival. The duo performed at the opening night concert that also featured Cory Henry and the Edgar Winter Band, along with taking part in the teaching panels during the week. The event brings together world-class artists, instructors, and students for a week-long celebration of music and the guitar, with styles ranging from rock to classical. Raveis Kole felt honored to be invited to the event as one of the Artists-In-Residence, which also included Jim Messina, Poco featuring Rusty Young, The Pat Martino Trio, Justin Townes Earle, Liz Longley, among many others.

“We are so grateful to all of the artists who have helped to build the Crown Guitar Workshop and Festival into a premier national event,” said Dennis Kole. “Laurie and I are thrilled to have become a part of this proud tradition and musical family.”

Back home in Washington, Raveis Kole was excited with the news that their new album, “Electric Blue Dandelion – Nashville Sessions,” debuted on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart at No. 11. At the same time, the project also charted on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums Sales chart at No. 18 and on the Independent Albums chart at No. 41.

Fans will get a chance to hear the duo perform songs from the project when they join award-winning jazz and blues artist Chery Hodge for an upcoming concert on Sept. 13, will make their debut appearance on Seattle’s New Day Northwest show on Sept. 17 and Laurie Raveis has an upcoming feature interview for GuitarGirlMag.com.
