Hailing from Greenville, North Carolina, Marye Amanda has always had a passion for music. As an artist, Marye Amanda has had various singing opportunities. She has performed at The Bluebird Cafe, The Pour House Music Hall and Record Shop, The Sutler, NC State Fair, NC Seafood Festival, CMA Fest in Nashville, and Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh.

Marye Amanda has also been recognized for her hard work as an artist, and she is a member of The Recording Academy. In 2016, Marye Amanda won the Carolina Music Award for Youth Artist of the Year. Marye Amanda then returned to the Carolina Music Awards in 2017, and she won Youth Video of the Year with her original song, “Smoke and Mirrors.” Marye Amanda was nominated for the 2019 Carolina Music Awards Americana Artist of the Year and Americana Vocalist of the Year at the 2019 Josie Music Awards.
