According to Google, the definition of paramour is “a lover, especially the illicit partner of a married person” and that’s exactly what Ashlyn Marie’s new single is about. The powerful music video expands upon this element, showcasing the aftermath of her partner’s cheating. Through powerful vocals layered over a beautiful composition, Ashlyn calls out her lover’s disloyalty. She’s ready for revenge in the lyrics “I’m losing my religion / And an eye for an eye seems fair to me.” Ashlyn’s expert songwriting skills keep us on the edge of our seat, and her powerful music video make’s viewers want to get their own nasty revenge on their cheating ex’s.

Ashlyn Marie is a country/pop diva from the deep south crafting a new sound that has already made quite the splash in the Nashville music scene. Coming from South Carolina she is a soulful songstress with starry eyes and country roots. Being born into a family of musicians, Ashlyn began singing and writing songs as early as she could speak and became heavily involved with music in her church and local community.  As a new Performing Arts graduate from Clemson University, Ashlyn has hit the ground running and will be releeasing music through 2024-2025.
