The Highway Women are a band of female musicians from across the USA. They primarily are solo artists in country and southern rock music. The mission of The Highway Women is to celebrate women in music and to utilize our platform to support and empower other female artists. Their record label was founded in 2016 by Jimmy Parman and in August of 2017 he sold the record label Victory Music Buzz to Jill Pavel who is also the owner of Heart Songs Records. Prior to Pavel purchasing the label and the Highway Women Band, they toured the US playing festivals and local venues in their region.
The Highway Women are currently based in Nashville, The Northeast and in East Texas. They are recording their freshman EP and building their 2019 tour. When Pavel bought the brand she wanted to redevelop The Highway Women into a larger platform to give more women the opportunity to grow with the Highway Women and also help support their individual music careers. Currently, there are 8 Highway Women with more to be added to the roster after the New Year.
