Watch: Ana Popovic’s Official Music Video for “Lasting Kind of Love”

0

“Blues-guitar maven” Ana Popovic exclusively premiered her video for “Lasting Kind of Love” with Grammy.com. Featuring 4-time GRAMMY-winner Keb’ Mo’ — who produced her latest album ‘Like it On Top’ (out Sept. 14) — the light, romantic video highlights the blues-influenced sound of her new record, a concept album exploring ten different aspects of women’s empowerment on ten brand new songs.

Popovic — one of the world’s most respected players — decamped to Nashville to work with Keb’ Mo’ and a slew of collaborators including Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Robben Ford to create this collection that’s part autobiographical and partly a broader statement aimed at every woman — desire and fantasy, feeling empowered about your craft, confronting dominant macho male attitudes, escaping an abusive marriage, and how to have a strong man as your partner.
