Newly designed Mérida Extrema Trajan guitars deliver increased volume, improved tone

Now completely re-braced with solid Canadian cedar tops and solid mahogany back and sides with deluxe hardshell case included

Norwalk, CT – May 14, 2015 – Merida Extrema Guitars has announced major improvements to its T25 and T25-CES nylon string, acoustic and acoustic/electric cutaway guitars.

The Trajan T25 and T25-CES are professional level instruments handcrafted by expert luthiers with extensive time and attention paid to detail and playability. These guitars now offer traditionally fan braced, solid Canadian Cedar tops. The improvement to the bracing and the solid cedar top has added noticeable volume, clarity and sensitivity to these guitars.

According to Michael Spremulli, CEO of Mérida Guitars USA, “These are without question, the most popular instruments of any of our nylon series’ of instruments. Their warm, rich tones, even, balanced feel and sound are incredibly pleasing. The upgrades made in these instruments have quickly been embraced by many top performing and studio musicians and have found their way on tour with many national acts across the globe.”

Each T25 instrument features high-quality, name-brand components such as Graphtech® Black Tusq XL™ nuts and saddles, Der Jung® Premium Tuning Mechanisms, Merida/Fishman Isys Preamp (T25-CES) and more.

The T25 and T25-CES carry suggested retail prices of $1045.00 and $1285.00 respectively with street prices of $785.00 and $899.00. The T25-CES with cutaway and electronics now includes a deluxe hardshell case (USA only).
