The three-hour telecast of “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards” led ABC to dominate Wednesday night, ranking #1 in all six half-hours of primetime with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. During primetime, ABC beat its nearest competition by 3.2 million viewers (+46% – 10.1 million vs. 6.9 million – NBC) and by 62% in Adults 18-49 (2.1/9 vs. 1.3/5 – Fox). ABC delivered its highest rating on any night this season with entertainment programming. ABC saw Wednesday night season highs with its best non-sports performance since last year’s CMA Awards on Nov. 8, 2017.
