PRS Guitars is pleased to continue their relationship with Alex Lifeson of Rush with the announcement of an all-new SE thinline acoustic signature model. The SE Alex Lifeson Thinline acoustic is a road-worthy guitar for players in need of a stage- and studio-ready instrument. Carrying over its unique appointments from the Private Stock Alex Lifeson acoustic, this model features a thinner body depth than PRS’s standard Angelus model and the “Birds in Flight” inlay design.

Indie-pop singer-songwriter and guitarist from the UK, Little Lapin, has been described as “A Pretenders for the 21st Century” and has performed all over the world from New Zealand to New York to the UK. She recently released her single “Remember The Highs” which will be one of the tracks on a new album due out later this year. Little Lapin has partnered with New Zealand producer Ben King on her new single and upcoming album. Based on the melody, catchy guitar riffs, and raw but polished vocals on Little Lapin’s latest works, the forthcoming album will surely be a success.

Angeline Saris is a bass virtuoso whose depth of talent is diverse and comprehensive. She began playing the bass at the age of 15 while in high school and continued to hone her skills throughout her high school and college years before taking the plunge to become a professional musician. Not only a seasoned professional bassist, Saris is a songwriter, composer, and music teacher. She has graced the stage with many legendary acts including ska legend Ernest Ranglin, Santana, Dionne Warwick, the Narada Michael Walden Band, and most recently with Orianthi and Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) at the She Rocks Awards.

Official ASCAP EXPO showcase presents opportunity for female artists to perform

Music discovery is at the heart of the South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival and is one of the primary motivating forces that attracts registrants year-after-year. With that in mind, SXSW is releasing, by popular request, the full list of bands scheduled to perform at the 29th edition of the SXSW Music Festival taking place Tuesday, March 17 - Sunday, March 22, 2015. The list contains over 2,200 artists that are scheduled to perform.
