NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 7, 2018) — The CHARM Foundation held their inaugural Nashville Back To School Bash on Saturday, August 4th at the Martha O’Bryan Center in East Nashville. An overwhelming number of attendees were welcomed and CHARM was able to provide over 700 children with backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, health screenings, haircuts and more. The lively event also featured a DJ, complimentary food and drinks, a balloon artist, a face paint station and the Tennessee Titans very own mascot, T-Rac.

The CHARM Foundation is founded by Jaclyn Stapp, philanthropist, award-winning children’s author, mother, and wife of Grammy award-winning singer Scott Stapp of Creed.  Growing up with humble beginnings, Jaclyn started CHARM at 17 years old as a way to give back to the community. The organization has been profiled by People MagazineThe Dr. OZ ShowABC NewsGood Morning America and more.

“We are so overwhelmed with joy and gratitude serving over 700 children with backpacks, school supplies, medical exams, and haircuts,” said Jaclyn. “We could not have accomplished this without our gracious volunteers, Charm committee and our generous sponsors. Thank you all for your support in helping impact these children’s lives with a head start they would otherwise have never gotten.”
