Guitar Cloud Symposium Offers “Heroes” Deep Dive featuring lessons on Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page & Joni Mitchell

Kick-Off the New Year with Immersive Tutorials into the Styles of Four Transcendent Guitar Legends on January 16, 2021

Portland, OR – January 4 2021 – The 2021 Guitar Cloud Symposium online-lesson events debut with a thrilling Deep-Dives session decoding the techniques and creative strategies of four guitar legends: Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and Joni Mitchell.

The “Heroes” live-lesson event is Saturday, January 16, 2021. Register at guitarcloudsymposium.com.

“Heroes” instructors:

  • Jennifer Batten on Jeff Beck. Batten was in Beck’s band and has comprehensive, first-hand knowledge of Beck’s material and approach to performance.
  • Jude Gold on Eddie Van Halen. The Jefferson Starship guitarist performed as Eddie in the popular Van Halen tribute band, Hot For Teacher.
  • Gretchen Menn on Jimmy Page. Menn has evoked Page’s style and persona for years as a long-standing member of the all-female Led Zeppelin tribute act, Zepparella.
  • Vicki Genfan on Joni Mitchell. Genfan is a master of tunings, rhythmic tactics, and songwriting techniques — a perfect skill set to translate Mitchell’s style.

Guitar Cloud Symposium’s “Heroes” session is the ultimate educational opportunity for guitarists looking to absorb essential insights into the artistic DNA of four legends in a one-day, eight-hour full-immersion session. Students will have plenty of time for Q&As with the teachers to ensure every lick, riff, and technique is fully understood.
