To celebrate it’s fifth year, Antigone Rising’s BeachFest, will be celebrating a full day of music and fun for the entire family on Saturday, June 30, 2018. This free, one-day event will feature two stages of music and celebrate the band’s non-profit, Girls Rising. The festival takes place on June 30, 2018 in Sea Cliff, NY and is focused around a special Girls Rising outreach panel and workshop, moderated by Carnie Wilson of Wilson Phillips.

BeachFest is hosted by comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, who has been featured on
Late Show with David Letterman and her own HBO Special. Two music stages will feature different genres of music, the KIDZ BOP YouthStage and Main Stage featuring national acts, including the all-star Girls Rising panel. More entertainers performing are 4 time USA Olympic Hockey Gold Medalist, Angela Ruggiero, WNBA New York Liberty All-Star Sue Wicks, NASA Astronaute Cady Coleman, and many more inspiring and courageous women in science, technology and other industries.

“Our goal is to provide a complete fun-filled experience for all families while reinforcing our  message of equality, inclusion and empowerment,” said Nini Camps, co-president of Girls Rising.
