Singer-songwriter Brooke Moriber releases her heartfelt new single, “I Still Need You,” a poignant expression of love from a daughter to her mother.
At once intimate and vulnerable, “I Still Need You” narrates the influence of a mother’s love despite time, distance, and differences.
“Mama when I push away, I don’t mean to / I just need to make my own mistakes.”
Moriber explains, “This song came straight from my heart. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt torn between needing their mom and needing to find themselves. I think so many people will connect to that internal tug-of-war.”
The timely song reveals the feelings everyone has for the women who gave us life, nurtured us, and shaped our personalities. It reminds us that no matter what we achieve in life, we all need someplace and someone to return to.
Moriber’s career path has been unusual – from performing on Broadway at a young age to dealing with a rare eye disease as a teenager to making her way to Nashville, followed by dropping her debut single, “Cry Like A Girl,” and later signing with Reviver Records.
Her music has been featured on multiple playlists, as well as Sirius XM’s Velvet, CMT online, Music Choice Network, and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart. Moriber has shared the stage with Scotty McCreery, Cyndi Lauper, The Gin Blossoms, Dylan Scott, and Caroline Jones.

Co-written with songwriters Jay Knowles and Alicia Witt, “I Still Need You” rolls out on gleaming, shimmery guitars traveling on a vibrant rhythm. There’s a slight push to the melody, infusing the tune with resonant dynamics.
