Camille K Embraces Vulnerability on “Let’s Face It”

Fast-rising pop artist Camille K unveils her latest single, “Let’s Face It,” a vulnerable song about the emotions engendered by jumping without looking into anything new – romance, friendship, opportunity.

Produced by Dirty Harry Zelnick, Lectriq, and M11SON, “Let’s Face It” extends Camille K’s gift for crafting intimate, seductive songs.

While growing up, Camille K listened to soul, R&B, and classic love songs, courtesy of her mother. From her father, she got her love for classic rock. These influences may be heard in her unique pop sound, at once dynamic and compelling.

Since the age of 11, Camille K has shared the stage with artists like Gina Schock (The Go-Go’s), Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers), and Barry Goudreau (Boston). She has opened for big-name artists, including Flo Rida, Ja Rule, C&C Music Factory, Lit, Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC, O-Town, LFO, and Jon Anderson (Yes).

In 2022, Camille K appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, where she performed her song “Still in Love,” which wowed the judges: Simon Cowell called her performance “beautiful,” while Heidi Klum said she was “absolutely amazing” and “the whole package.” Sofia used the term “spectacular” while describing Camille K’s voice. Camille K is an endorsed artist of Anatomy of Sound picks and Minarik Guitars.

“Let’s Face It” opens on emerging tones riding a shuffling beat. Ascending colors introduce the melody, highlighted by Camille K’s lusciously bewitching vocals, balanced, rich, and oh-so sumptuous. It’s one of those voices that sounds good whether soft and whispery or letting it loose. On this track, there’s a delicious, yearning sigh running through her delivery.

The undulating melody blends elements of soul, R&B, and pop into a creamy, inviting motion, revealing the inherent sensuality of vulnerability.

With her shrewd pop instincts, on “Let’s Face It,” Camille K elevates her sound via softer harmonics and silvery smooth guitars.
