GRITTY IN PINK TO KICK OFF MONTHLY RESIDENCY AT THE ECHO LA ON MAY 11 FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

Who: Gritty In Pink – a female-led platform, on a mission to achieve gender equality in the music industry. We empower women in music through an online community, partnerships, events and our new marketplace INPINK.

What: Gritty In Pink is kicking off their monthly residency at The Echo LA on Thursday, May 11. The May showcase will be honoring Mental Health Awareness Month. Proudly sponsored by Tunecore, Women In Music, Drew Martin, Guitar Girl Magazine, and held in partnership with Live Nation Women and INPINK. The free for all ages event will feature sets from DJ Cristy Lawrence, all girl Sublime tribute band SHEblime, Cali pop-punk band SiksSiksSicks, Australian vocalist and songwriter Leah Martin-Brown, the hard rock five piece S8nt Elektric, and Alt-rock group Frankie & the Studs.

Co-hosted by Gritty founder Shiragirl, the electric Xtine Reckless (Xtine & the Reckless Hearts), and gritty mainstay VK Lynne (The Spider Accomplice). Attendees can expect a night of original music and DJ sets. Prior to the showcase, Gritty In Pink will host a pre-show Instagram livestream on Monday, March 8 at the Live Nation L2L Creator house.
