Directed by Adam Jones, the artistic visual provides the perfect backdrop for a song that portrays an all-or-nothing kind of love. “The goal for writing this song was to stop listeners in their tracks and give them the courage to take a chance on a relationship or something in their life where they couldn’t predict the outcome, but knew they needed to give it a whirl,” Sheyda shared with PopWrapped.
With over 1.1 million YouTube views from previous videos such as “Lungs” and “Wish I Could Want You” Sheyda has been consistently churning out creative content since her official debut in early 2021 with the release of “The Dragon,” a vulnerable track dubbed a “powerful rallying cry” by American Songwriter that gives insight into the struggles of addiction and watching loved ones battle with the disease. She powered through her breakout year with additional releases, including an Aretha Franklin inspired ballad which Hollywood Life described as “a modern soul classic that showcases Sheyda’s skills as a songwriter and her talents as a dynamic vocalist.” With a slew of additional releases and exciting projects coming soon, 2022 is set to be another monumental year for the gifted vocalist.
