“When you feel like giving up, like it’s too hard, like you’re your own worst enemy, like it’s a battle to just BE – life tends to throw you a lifeline. No matter how small. Some hope comes. Whether it’s through a friend, a stranger, or a strength or faith you find inside yourself. My song “Armor” is about that sliver of light that comes to your aid. Your Armor”

Tell us about your new music.

I’m so excited to share this music I’ve been working on! This release, ‘Armor’ is the 2nd single from my upcoming E.P. I wrote the song a few years ago and it’s been on my mind all this time! When I started recording my EP with producer Todd Spadafore, I knew it was the right time to revisit this song!

What was the writing and recording process?

The first line of the song literally came to me one day a few years ago. There was no one around and the line just popped into my head! Usually, my writing doesn’t come out of the blue like that! I would typically start with a melody and the words come later, but this felt quite magical! Out of nowhere! I worked with incredible producer Todd Spadafore on the song. When I brought him the song, he immediately got the feel and vibe I was going for and took it to another level!

Is there a particular lyric that speaks to you?

Probably the first line – ‘If all is quiet and there’s no one left, and you’re tired of fighting all the demons in your head….I’ll be …your Armor’

What do you hope fans/listeners take away with them when they listen to your music?

I just hope that my music can bring something hopeful, positive, and uplifting to anyone who listens!
