AMERICANAFEST® Recap for Friday, Sept. 14, featuring Shorefire Media, Finest Folk & A Taste of Australia

AmericanaFest® hosted even more exciting events with these highlights on Saturday, Sept. 15.

The yearly AMERICANAFEST® taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, had a full day of events on it’s second day, Friday, with several of our documented highlights, featured below.

Shorefire Media’s Salute to Americana – The publicist firm with locations in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Nashville, presented a two-hour “Salute To Americana,” party with special performances by several of their clients, that took place at 3rd and Lindsley.


A Taste of Australia – Held at The Filming Station from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sounds Australia held an official Australian lunch and show, featuring showcases with Australian artists, including Catherine Britt, Fanny Lumsden, Josh Rennie-Hynes, Ruby Boots, Tommy Emmanuel and William Crighton.

Finest Folk: A Celebration of Women In Music – This event celebrating women in music joined by Folk Alliance International (FAI), featured a line-up of traditional and modern folk music, featuring all-female performances, including Melanie Brulée, Kalyn Fay, Kristin Andreassen, Mary Bragg and Olivia Fox.
