This new single is her first for the new year, having released multiple top fifteen singles on the Active Rock charts, the 23 year-old singer has signed a distribution deal with Ingrooves and plans to release quite a few music releases in 2020 as an independent artist. “Obvious” was produced by her long-time creative partner and legendary producer Howard Benson with Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace.

“This release (Obvious) is especially exciting because it’s my first independent release in five years.” Diamante offers, adding, “Now that I’m no longer signed to a label, I’ve realized the endless possibilities that come with this new freedom. At first I felt overwhelmed, but now I feel empowered to be able to take the risks I have always wanted to take, make the music I’ve always wanted to make, move unconventionally, and blaze my own blue trail.”

Diamante has recorded music in English and Spanish. She was born to an Italian father and Mexican mother in a Boston suburb, and delving into her love of writing with poetry and short stories. During her teenage years, she performed at local gigs on the Sunset Strip. “Being on stage and singing rock was the way I broke out of my shell and was able to realize who I am and the full potential I have,” she admits. “From there, I really connected to the women of the eighties like Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and Debbie Harry. I thought they were so cool, iconic, and badass. That’s how I wanted to be.”

Her debut studio album, Coming in Hot, came out in 2018 and she spent that summer touring with Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch. She also collaborated the same year with Bad Wolves for “Hear Me Now,” and that single landed the number one spot on the Active Rock charts. She also toured with Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace in the summer of 2019, closed out the year with her first ever headline run.
