NASHVILLE (March 13, 2017) –Epiphone, the world leader in affordable professional instruments, returns to the legendary South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Conference in Austin, Texas March 10-19 to host multiple events including an all-day Luck Reunion concert at Willie Nelson’s ranch. 5th Annual MyMusicRx + YOU WHO! Rock Show for Kids
Thursday, March 16 – 10 am – 12 pm
During SXSW 2017, Epiphone will announce it has signed on to become the first anchor sponsor of Austin-based MyMusicRx, the flagship program of the Children’s Cancer Association. MyMusicRx provides bedside and online music medicine programs delivered free of charge to hospitalized kids of all ages and diagnoses. The program offers a state-of-the-art music cart and trained music specialists who play music for kids and their families. Epiphone will also sponsor the 5th annual MyMusicRx + YOU WHO! Luck Reunion
Thursday, March 16 – 11 am – 11pm
Epiphone will once again sponsor the Luck Reunion, an all-day concert event at Willie Nelson’s ranch. The Luck Reunion takes place on the original movie set of Willie Nelson’s 1980’s classic film, Red Headed Stranger. Visitors will be able to try out Epiphone instruments including the Masterbilt Century Collection and even perform for the cameras and instantly broadcast their performance on social media. Performers include Brent Cobb, Margo Price, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jonathan Tyler, Paul Cauthen, and Bee Caves.
